March 2012 - Three Linden Avenue Middle School students and six Red Hook High School students had the honor of being accepted to the New York State Band Directors Association State-Wide Honor Bands. They spent the weekend of March 2nd in Syracuse rehearsing with renowned conductors, culminating in a concert. It was an outstanding educational experience rehearsing and performing in a band comprised of the most accomplished student musicians in New York State. The students were selected from applicants throughout the state on the basis of their NYSSMA solo festival scores.  We are very proud of their accomplishments.  Congratulations!
