Meet Mrs.Clark
Hello, everyone! I can't wait to meet you this year! Here are some interesting facts about me. I was born in NYC, but grew up in Westchester County. When I got married, I moved to Red Hook, and have enjoyed living here ever since. I have a BS in Nursing from Mount St Mary College in Newburgh, and worked as a registered nurse for 15 years. As much as I liked being a nurse, I always wanted to be a teacher, so I went back to school to get my Masters in Education from SUNY New Paltz. I have been lucky enough to be teaching my favorite grade level (fourth grade, of course!) for the past 28 years at Mill Road School. It's been a pleasure working with such wonderful students, parents, and staff throughout the years!
When I'm not teaching, I love playing all kinds of sports (basketball, tennis, pickleball, etc.), riding my bike, reading lots of books, rooting for the Yankees, and most of all, spending time with Mr. Clark and our family (2 daughters, 2 sons, 2 sons-in-law, 1 daughter-in-law, and 8 grandchildren). Even though summer is my favorite season of the year, I always look forward in September to meeting my new class of fourth grade friends!
