Mill Road Intermediate School

Welcome to our fourth grade team!  Since we are studying New York State this year, we have decided that “Team Excelsior” would be the name for our group of teachers and students.  Excelsior is New York’s official state motto. It is a Latin word which means “Ever Upward.”  The motto appears on New York’s coat of arms which is displayed on New York’s State Seal and State Flag.

We are very excited about this school year and our fourth grade team teaching rotation!  Mrs. Clark will be teaching Math, Mrs. Dunn will be teaching Social Studies/ Science, Mrs. Jones will be teaching ELA (English Language Arts), and Mrs. Strawinski will be offering small group support to students in all subjects.  Although we are teaching different subjects, we all have common classroom expectations and procedures.
