What Do School Psychologists Do?
School Psychologists help children and youth succeed academically, socially, and emotionally. They team with educators, parents, and other mental health professionals to create safe, healthy, and supportive learning environments for all students that strengthen connections between home and school.

Primary responsibilities of School Psychologists include the completion of psycho-educational evaluations, provision of counseling, working as team members with teachers, parents, service providers, community agencies, and administrators, and serving as members of the Committee on Special Education (CSE), Child Study/Response to Intervention Team (CST/RTI), and Section 504 Committee.
