    Announcement: Free & Reduced Applications for the 2020-21 School Year need to be submitted by 10/1/20.  All applications not submitted by 10/1/19 for approval have defaulted to a paid status. Meal rates are as follows: All Breakfast in District, $1.75; Mill Road Lunch, $2.75; Linden Ave Lunch, $3.00; High School Lunch, $3.00
    Welcome to the School Year!
    My staff and I are looking forward to another year of providing your children with healthy, balanced meals.
    Our daily menu of breakfast and lunch meals are carefully analyzed for nutritional content.  Your children are receiving well balanced meals which give them the fuel they need for their learning process.  There are four or five items offered daily to make up a complete meal.  Your children can purchase the whole lunch or may opt to use the Offer vs. Serve option which is the main entree plus two side offerings at the same price as the whole lunch.
    We have noticed that many of our middle school students are purchasing snack items as their lunch.  This is not a healthy eating habit. We have instituted a new system at the middle school cafeteria.  If a student buys lunch, he or she may purchase a single snack.  Once lunch has been completed, our students are allowed to come into the kitchen to purchase one snack item at a time.

    Red Hook Food Services

    Dear Parents and Guardians,

    The Food Services Department continues to be committed to providing your child with safe and nutritious meals for the upcoming school year.

    To ensure everyone’s safety, we will be following all CDC, SED and Department of Health safety measures for food handling and personal health and safety by practicing social distancing, the use of masks and gloves and the washing, rinsing, and sanitizing of kitchen workstations and utensils.

    All meals will be prepared with the utmost of care and safety with minimal handling and processing. This will include the use of individually wrapped service ware and pre-portioned food items.

    Staying true to our commitment to NY State and the use of local food items where available, Hudson Valley Fresh Milk will be included with all meals, as will Red Barn Produce in Highland for local fruits and vegetables, Upstate Farms Yogurt, Feather Ridge Farm Eggs and Slate Food Beef products. If you require meals for Curbside Pickup or are in NEED of a delivery, please send the following information to schoolmeals@rhcsd.org

    • Meal Selection; Hot Meal, Salad Meal OR Sandwich Meal.

    Meals will be available FREE OF CHARGE through December 31, 2020 every day, Monday through Friday for Curbside Pick-up.

    Meal Delivery services are reserved for families in Need. Due to our restrictions and limitations that surround our ability to transport food, families with extreme hardship situations will be considered for home delivery. We will do our very best to accommodate your request, please understand that there are no guarantees associated with meal deliveries. At any time, you may take advantage of our three convenient school building locations for curb side pick-up.

    Linden Ave Middle School: 9:00am-10:30am Bus Circle     

    Red Hook Senior High School: 8:00am to 10:30am Main Entrance Bus Circle
