• Red Hook Central School District's Virtual Backpack

backpackWelcome to our Virtual Backpack - your one-stop location for a host of school-sponsored and community-hosted events and activities!

Please bookmark this page and check back weekly for new postings.

This electronic publication of school and community flyers is part of the district's 10 Percent Challenge to reduce our overall carbon footprint and consumption of resources. We commit to sharing the information you will find here in PDF format instead of stuffing your student's real-life backpack with photocopied flyers. Use the article links to the left to view flyers for school-sponsored events and/or community-sponsored events. Links will have a shelf-life and will be removed as the activity dates come and go. Links to documents full of information with a much longer shelf life will be available in the Virtual Backpack for longer periods of time.

If you have something you'd like considered for publication in our Virtual Backpack (local events only please!), please contact the Superintendent's Office at 845-758-2241 ext. 59501 or email via our staff directory.

Files MUST be in an ADA-compliant Word or PDF format to be considered for publication. Multiple-page files MUST be submitted in a single-file format, not as separate pages. All files must include the following disclaimer: "Flyer for distribution/information purposes only. This is not an RHCSD-sponsored event."  File submissions MUST be received no later than Wednesday of the week you wish the posting to first appear. Postings are typically added to the Virtual Backpack on Friday mornings.
