Welcome to the Mill Road Primary School! As our students begin their educational journey, it is our goal that we give each child the best possible start. Primary education uses a developmental framework, which allows students to enhance their current skills while building new ones. With a critical emphasis on a foundation in literacy, our curriculum explores all of the content areas by implementing a balanced instructional approach. The K-2 years are not only a time of acquiring academic skills, but also a time of creativity, building social and emotional skills and exploring the wonder of our world.

Red Hook continually exhibits an excellence in teaching and learning. Our staff members are among the most dedicated experts in education.  It is my honor and pleasure to partner with them as we continually strive to meet the highest standards for our students. Our responsibility is to create a nurturing, safe, enriching environment that challenges students while making learning fun. Each child here is unique, with special talents and gifts to be celebrated and encouraged. I am fortunate to be a part of their journey.
