    Students return to Mill Road Garden for spring

    With temperatures rising and the sun shining, students returned for the first time to the Mill Road Garden Tuesday. Garden Instructor Douglas Keto walked the students through the new growth and planned projects for the garden this year, including a wildflower area with ponds.

    Garden classes learn about erosion

    Garden instructor Douglas Keto is teaching Mill Road Intermediate School students about erosion by testing miniature shorelines. Using angled tubs filled with sand and rocks, the students are invited to build paths for the water in one tub and arrange impediments in the other.
