Registering a New Student

  • Registration is a three-step process!
  • Unless a parent/guardian completes all three steps, students will not be able to obtain a class schedule, ID number or teacher assignment.

Step 1:

FOR NEW PARENTS: Visit the Red Hook CSD online registration portal

PARENTS WITH EXISTING STUDENTS ALREADY AT RHCSD: please click HERE

Step 2: You will receive an email from the Operoo Portal (Operro Administrator <admin-us@operoo.com>) after the district's registrar reviews your online registration application.  Operro is a new digital document system we are implemented to help ease in the registration process.

The email from Operoo will have a header titled "Red Hook Central School District - Operoo Account Created." That email will include the following instructions: "A new Operoo account has been created for you to access information for Red Hook Central School District. You can sign-in to this account by navigating to https://www.operoo.com, clicking Sign In and using the username and password below."

Step 3: Once logged into Operoo, you will be given a series of forms to complete. Your student's registration application will not be fully processed until ALL of the forms are completed.

Questions? If you have any questions, please get in touch with the district's Registrar at registration@rhcsd.org OR 845-758-2241 ext. 55010 for assistance.

NOTE: If your child has already been registered, please provide the District with any updated information. Updated documents would include: updated immunization records and health visit, updated lease or residency papers, updated custody papers (if applicable), updated cell phone numbers, or anything else that has changed between the original registration date and now.

The Central Registrar can also mail the registration packet to families without access to a printer or the Internet.

The school district is required by New York State Education Law to verify the prospective student's eligibility for enrollment based on residency within the district's boundaries.
